  11. These images (all 320x512 Ham) have been rendered by me on my A500
  12. 0.5 chip and 3.5 fast ram system with GVP HD.
  13.  
  14. The renders took up to 4 hours each and have been done since 
  15. January 1993.
  16.  
  17. They have been rendered with the highest detail levels from the
  18. DEM's supplied with VistaPro 2. Also a couple from random scenes
  19. from my birthdate as the seed value!

  21. Look out for my Volumes 1 and 3 at your favourite ftp site....

  27. A few tips for all VP renderers...  
  28.  
  29. 1. If you have Gourard shading on then dont bother with the texture
  30.    setting. It doesnt make the picture look any better and doubles the
  31.    render time.
  32.  
  33. 2. Work at 640x512 in VistaPro and then convert the saved 24 bit IFF
  34.    using Art Dept. Pro. VistaPro is useless at producing its own
  35.    Ham images!

  37. 3. Buy an accelerator card... like I am going to do!! And an A1200/A4000
  38.    for the Ham8 graphics.

  49. You can use the images in anything you do..but could you please credit me 
  50. and send me a copy of your work. They may be distributed by PD companies
  51. only if this file is kept with the archive.
